VERGE ENTERTAINMENT is the film production and creative services company specializing in live-action, animation, graphic novels, and advertising.

The partners of Verge Entertainment are Shawn Martinbrough, Joseph Phillip Illidge and Milo Stone. They have collectively worked on characters which include DC Comics’ The Batman, Marvel Comics’ Iron Man and The X-Men, and Vertigo’s The Losers. The company’s list of clients includes Warner Bros., Marvel Characters, Inc., Bad Boy Entertainment, Nintendo, Coca-Cola/POWERade, Mattel, Random House, Bodog, Vibe, and Playboy.

Kevin McCarthy began working as a comic book writer, artist and editor in 1995 when he created Casual Heroes, published by Image Comics under the Motown Animation imprint.

His credits include Marvel’s Spider-Man Team Up, DC’s Orion, Top Cow’s Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Dynamite’s Army of Darkness and Red Sonja, UMI/Guardian’s The Seekers, the creator-owned ALIEN8 for Disney, and Dark Horse’s Eisner Award-winning anthology Michael Chabon Presents The Amazing Adventures of the Escapist.

His story “The Mechanist,” drawn by Bill Sienkiewicz, was recognized by Houghton Mifflin as one of “100 Distinguished Comics” in their collection The Best American Comics.
