The 3rd Liaoning Export Commodities Exhibition in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, officially kicked off in the Mongolian capital. Co-organized by the Department of Commerce of Liaoning Province and the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the three-day event brought together a large delegation of 89 high-quality enterprises from Liaoning. These companies engaged in in-depth, face-to-face business matching with local buyers to jointly explore the vast overseas market, writing a new chapter for Liaoning's enterprises going global and deepening China-Mongolia economic and trade cooperation.

As a vital platform for Liaoning Province to promote steady growth in foreign trade and support enterprises in expanding overseas, this year's exhibition was meticulously planned in terms of zoning and sectoral layout. The venue features six specialized zones: general merchandise, hardware and building materials, textiles and apparel, machinery and equipment, agricultural and sideline products, and automotive parts and components. This layout not only aims for comprehensive coverage of industrial categories but also seeks to meet the diversified procurement needs of the Mongolian market through precise supply and demand matching. From daily consumer goods to heavy machinery, Liaoning's enterprises showcased their industrial strengths and manufacturing capabilities across the board, offering local buyers a one-stop, high-quality procurement experience.

At the exhibition, the innovative technologies and premium products from Liaoning's enterprises were the center of attention. Zhongwei Group, for instance, drew large crowds of local engineering clients with its advanced steel structure technology models. Given Mongolia's robust demand for steel structure products in mining and infrastructure construction, Zhongwei Group precisely addressed this market need. Its technology models provided an intuitive demonstration of the products' stability in extreme cold environments and ease of installation. Following in-depth negotiations and business matching, Zhongwei Group successfully secured partnerships with clients during the event, signing contracts worth a total of 4 million US dollars on the spot, achieving a dual success in both technology and economic returns.

Meanwhile, making its debut at the exhibition, Liaoning International Trade Group demonstrated great enthusiasm and thorough preparation. The group carefully organized a strong exhibition lineup, bringing physical exhibits from 29 enterprises covering multiple advantageous categories, along with detailed promotional materials from 40 other enterprises. By combining physical displays with promotional presentations, Liaoning International Trade Group actively promoted Liaoning's high-quality products to the Mongolian market, striving to build brand awareness in its maiden appearance and lay a solid foundation for future in-depth cooperation.

Looking back, the Liaoning Export Commodities Exhibition in Ulaanbaatar has been successfully held twice, accumulating a solid market foundation and an excellent reputation. It is reported that the previous edition attracted nearly 20,000 local visitors and buyers, creating a vibrant atmosphere on site. Data shows that Liaoning's light industrial products, with their outstanding cost-effectiveness and reliable quality, are highly favored in the Mongolian market, becoming the top choice for local consumers and buyers. Building on the successful experience of the first two editions and the enthusiastic market response, this year's exhibition has further expanded in the number of participating enterprises, variety of exhibits, and scale of the exhibition area. It is committed to bringing more "Liaoning Smart Manufacturing" and "Liaoning's Finest Products" into Mongolian households and major engineering projects.

The successful hosting of this exhibition is inseparable from the increasingly close macroeconomic and trade landscape between China and Mongolia. Currently, China and Mongolia enjoy close economic and trade relations, with China remaining Mongolia's largest trading partner and a major source of investment for many consecutive years. Mongolia has massive demand in energy, minerals, and infrastructure construction. As an important traditional industrial base in China, Liaoning boasts a complete industrial system and strong production capacity advantages in equipment manufacturing, raw material processing, and light industry and textiles. The economic complementarity between the two countries provides broad space for bilateral economic and trade cooperation.

A relevant official from the Department of Commerce of Liaoning Province stated that the exhibition aims to build an efficient bridge of cooperation for Liaoning's high-quality enterprises to directly access overseas terminal markets. Through this government-facilitated, enterprise-driven model, it not only helps enterprises effectively reduce the cost of going global and precisely secure overseas orders, but also deepens bilateral economic and trade exchanges and enhances the influence of Liaoning brands in the international market.

Looking ahead, with the smooth progress of the third exhibition and the in-depth implementation of various business matching activities, Liaoning's enterprises will further consolidate and expand their market share in Mongolia. This will not only strongly help Liaoning build a new pattern of opening-up to the north and promote the high-quality development of the province's export-oriented economy, but also inject stronger economic and trade momentum into the development of the China-Mongolia comprehensive strategic partnership. Under the guidance of the Belt and Road Initiative, Liaoning is embracing the world with a more open attitude, sharing development opportunities, and jointly creating a prosperous future.
