On October 13, 2026, the Autumn Edition of the HKTDC Hong Kong Electronics Fair, organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), and ElectronicAsia, co-organized by the HKTDC and MMI Asia Pte Ltd, officially opened at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Running for four consecutive days, the fairs comprehensively showcase innovative achievements across a wide range of sectors, including consumer electronics, artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, smart living, immersive entertainment, electronic components, and advanced manufacturing technologies, providing global buyers with a one-stop sourcing and networking platform.
Making its debut this year, the Future Industries Zone focuses on five cutting-edge sectors, showcasing emerging trends that will shape tomorrow's industries. In her opening remarks, Grace Wong, Executive Director of the HKTDC, stated, "The Future Industries Zone reflects our commitment to evolving the fairs in tandem with the times, while supporting the strategic direction outlined in the Policy Address and the first Five-Year Plan to develop Hong Kong as an international innovation and technology hub." This year's fairs have brought together over 3,200 exhibitors from 15 countries and regions. Another major highlight is the expanded Robot Park, which not only showcases the latest robotic technologies but also demonstrates their applications in daily life and various industries.
In addition to local Hong Kong exhibitors, the fairs have attracted participants from the Chinese mainland, Macao, and Taiwan, as well as from Asia-Pacific markets such as South Korea and Singapore. Exhibitors from European and overseas markets, including Denmark, the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, and Cyprus, are also taking part. On the opening day, global buyers gathered in full force. The HKTDC organized 130 buying delegations from 65 countries and regions to visit and source products.
Co-organized by the HKTDC and the Hong Kong Electronics Association, and supported by the Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau of the HKSAR Government, the Future Industries Zone focuses on five key themes: Future Computing, Future Manufacturing, Future Ocean and Quantum Technology, Future Microelectronics, and Future Health. Led by major innovation and technology institutions such as Cyberport, the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, and the Hong Kong Productivity Council, the zone brings together over 100 exhibitors to showcase cutting-edge technologies and innovative application solutions, alongside a series of themed forums and networking events.
As a member of the government's "Go Global" Task Force, the HKTDC has set up the "Go Global" Connection Zone at the fairs. This zone gathers professional service institutions in finance, law, accounting, and insurance to assist enterprises in areas such as financing, intellectual property, logistics, compliance, and risk management, helping mainland Chinese companies connect with international markets through Hong Kong's professional services platform.
The Autumn Electronics Fair this year focuses on three major themes: AI and Robotics, Smart Health, and Next-Generation Entertainment. The Robot Park features over 120 robots across four categories: commercial and service, industrial and logistics, entertainment and social, and medical and rehabilitation. Highlights include Agibot's full-size humanoid robot Agibot A3, UBTECH's new-generation full-size humanoid robot Walker C1, and Unitree Robotics' quadruped robots Lite3 and M20. The zone also features interactive experience areas such as a robot dog garden, a robot dance battle arena, and a coffee and popcorn station.
In the Smart Health sector, Future Access Technology showcased LYRA, a screenless smart band, while Cheung Shing Development presented hearing aid glasses designed for individuals with mild to moderate hearing loss. In the Next-Generation Entertainment sector, DreamGear LLC displayed a new rechargeable retro gaming console built with over 200 classic games.
The fairs feature more than 20 exhibition zones. The Hall of Fame brings together over 560 renowned brands. RISE Avenue showcases emerging brands, including Beijing Huarong Data Technology Co., Ltd., which made the global debut of its all-in-one liquid-cooled AI computing system, delivering powerful computing capabilities for large model training and AI inference. The Adventure Hub features an immersive experience zone showcasing creative technologies such as brain-computer interfaces. In addition, the fairs have gathered over 120 startups, hosting supporting activities such as investment matching, pitch competitions, and mentoring programs to help startups refine their business models and expand their investor networks.
