The sub-forum series of the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) 2026 continues. From August 10 to 12, nine inaugural ICBS Breakthrough Science Medal laureates will deliver special academic reports at BIMSA in Yanqihu Lake, Beijing, covering mathematics, physics, and engineering.

The laureates include Claire Voisin, Hongze Yao, Shou-Wu Zhang, Andrea J. Liu, Yifang Wang, Xiaogang Wen, Zhenan Bao, Xiaowei Zhuang, and Feng Zhang.

The concurrent WAIC Future Youth Science and Technology Innovation Forum brings together world-class scientists, young technology talents, and industry representatives to explore how to build a fair and inclusive global AI governance system in the AI era, and launched the China Science and Technology Development Foundation Integration Program and World Youth Innovation Hub series.
