On October 10, 2026, the 2026 Shandong (International) Agricultural Products Trade Fair officially kicked off at the Shandong International Convention and Exhibition Center in Jinan. Hosted by the Shandong Agricultural Trade Promotion Association, co-organized by Shandong Qilu Agricultural Supermarket Technology Co., Ltd., and organized by Xiamen Phoenix Creative Exhibition Group Co., Ltd., the fair leverages Shandong's rich resources as a major agricultural province to bring together high-quality and distinctive agricultural products from across the country.

The exhibition spans a total area of 30,000 square meters, attracting over 1,000 exhibitors from 28 provinces and municipalities, including Hunan, Chongqing, Hubei, Hainan, Guizhou, Shaanxi, Sichuan, and Jilin. On the first day alone, visitor attendance exceeded 10,000. Meanwhile, approximately 500 major buyers and procurement representatives from the agricultural sector, both domestic and international—including those from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Beijing, and Hainan—gathered at the event for business matching and negotiations.

Focusing on the development needs of the entire agricultural industry chain, the fair features six core thematic zones: the Comprehensive Agricultural Products Zone, Fishery Zone, New Quality Productive Forces Zone, Tea Zone, E-commerce Live Streaming Zone for Agriculture, and Production and Sales Matching Zone. Each zone has a clear function and distinct characteristics. The exhibition showcases nearly 10,000 types of distinctive agricultural products covering all categories such as grain and oil, fruits and vegetables, animal husbandry and fishery, and tea. It also gathers cutting-edge agricultural scientific and technological achievements and smart farming technologies, presenting the new development trend of "technology empowering agriculture" in an all-round way and showcasing the fruitful achievements of national agriculture in variety breeding, technological innovation, and brand building from multiple perspectives.

In addition, a special "Major Buyers Matching Zone" is set up on-site, inviting 46 large-scale purchasers. Breaking the traditional passive waiting model, purchasers release their demand lists in advance, allowing exhibitors to engage in precise one-on-one matching. This significantly improves the efficiency of supply-demand matching and the success rate of cooperation.

The exhibition venue is bustling with activity and full of highlights. Tens of thousands of professional buyers, industry practitioners, and general visitors move through the exhibition areas, stopping to taste high-quality agricultural products, negotiating cooperation, or learning the stories behind the products via live streaming. In the characteristic exhibition areas of various provinces and municipalities, a dazzling array of local iconic agricultural products fully displays regional agricultural features. Beyond the rich exhibition content, the concurrent events of this Shandong Agricultural Trade Fair are equally well-structured and diverse: ranging from dedicated promotions of premium and specialty agricultural products to precise and efficient production-sales matching; from agricultural and cultural exchanges among delegations from across the country to lively and engaging interactive experiences for the public. These events are in full swing, making the fair not only a platform to showcase the achievements of agricultural industry development but also an important link for promoting cooperation, connecting production and sales, and benefiting people's livelihoods.

As a professional exhibition with distinct characteristics of agricultural origins, the 2026 Shandong (International) Agricultural Products Trade Fair has always been committed to promoting high-quality agricultural development. From the fields to the dining tables of the people, and from traditional farming techniques to digital technology empowerment, it continuously activates new momentum for agricultural development through professional exhibition planning, market-oriented operation models, and branded event building. Looking ahead, the Shandong Agricultural Trade Fair will continue to leverage its platform advantages to contribute to the transformation and upgrading of the agricultural industry in Shandong and across the country, helping it step into broader markets. It will build the exclusive IP of "Qilu Agricultural Expo" and jointly write a new chapter in high-quality agricultural development.
