Syria's post-war economic reconstruction continues as the Damascus Industrial Trilogy Exhibition opened August 8 at the Damascus International Exhibition grounds for three days. The trilogy comprises the 7th SyriaPlast, 6th Chem Expo and 3rd Romex, covering plastics, chemicals and raw materials across over 10,000 square meters with 300+ companies from 13 countries.
Multiple business agreements were signed during the event. Professional buyers from Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq and other countries attended. Kurdish entrepreneur Yahya Qasim from Hasakah Province participated with his automotive lubricant company, employing approximately 180 workers with annual production of about 300 tons, exported to Erbil, Lebanon and Jordan, with plans to build a new factory in Qamishli.
Nour Mashhadani, Deputy GM of Mashhadani International Group, stated that participation from Kurdish region companies helps expand investment and trade across Syria.
