Yuanxin Kewei Breaks Ground on 5-Billion-Yuan Semiconductor Key Materials Production Base

Yuanxin Kewei's high-end display and semiconductor key materials R&D and production base has broken ground at Wangcheng Economic Development Zone. The project involves a total investment of 5 billion yuan, focusing on upstream core materials for semiconductors and new displays. It fills a critical gap in Changsha's new materials industrial chain and has secured the first round of strategic investment from Xinding Capital, supporting the construction of an advanced manufacturing hub.

The project primarily produces critical consumables and core materials required in semiconductor manufacturing processes, including photoresist supporting materials, high-purity reagents, and special gas precursors. These materials have long been dependent on imports, representing one of the key bottlenecks constraining domestic semiconductor industry development.

The establishment of this project is of significant importance for enhancing the self-sufficiency level of domestic semiconductor materials. Upon completion, it is expected to effectively reduce import dependence on related materials, lower procurement costs for downstream enterprises, and drive coordinated development across the upstream and downstream industrial chains.
