Uganda's 5th International Building Expo Opens with 100+ Exhibitors from China, India, Turkey and Germany

The 5th Uganda International Building Expo (BuildCon Uganda 2026) will be held from August 6 to 8 at the UMA Exhibition Centre in Lugogo, Kampala.

Over 100 exhibitors from India, China, Turkey, Germany and other countries will showcase technologies in prefabricated construction, building automation and renewable energy, with over 10,000 visitors expected.

The expo aligns with Uganda's Fourth National Development Plan (NDP IV) for sustainable infrastructure and urbanization. The government will use the event to promote the national housing policy, digital land information system and building energy efficiency guidelines. Uganda's Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development, together with India's ETSIPL, co-organized this edition.
