From August 27 to 31, the 2026 South China Book Festival grandly opened at Area B of the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou. The Thailand Guest Country of Honor zone focuses on the overseas Chinese connections and literary exchanges between Guangdong and Thailand, deepening cross-cultural dialogue through overseas Chinese culture exhibitions, Thai literature showcases, and folk performances. The Shanghai Guest Province of Honor zone displays over 4,000 quality books, highlighting the achievements of Shanghai-style and Jiangnan culture and promoting the exchange of publishing resources between Shanghai and Guangdong.
