16th China Hair Expo Opens in Guangzhou with Buyers from 112 Countries

Approved by China's Ministry of Commerce and organized by the China National Light Industry Council Import & Export Chamber of Commerce, the 16th China Hair Expo opened on August 1 at the Poly World Trade Expo Center in Guangzhou and runs through August 3. With 40,000 sqm of exhibition space, the fair brings together over 800 renowned global hair industry brands and attracts more than 3,000 international buyers from 112 countries and regions along with 30,000 domestic professional visitors.

The expo features two major zones — hair products and scalp health — covering the full spectrum from raw materials to end consumer products. Nearly 100 innovative 2026 products made their debut, including new memory wire material wigs, multi-claw invisible clip-in hair extensions, and 3D smart wig customization systems. An international procurement matchmaking event organized by the Ministry of Commerce Trade Development Bureau was held concurrently, adopting a "pre-show precision matching + on-site one-on-one negotiation" model to achieve a trade closed loop of "hair products going global without leaving the country."
