On August 17, "Hub Empowerment, Chengdu Smart Manufacturing: The Chengdu Joint Exhibition of SRDI Enterprises" officially opened across three major transportation hubs: Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, and Chengdu East Railway Station. Adopting an innovative "transportation hub + industrial showcase" model, the joint exhibition breaks the spatial and temporal constraints of traditional trade shows, transforming the city's core gateways into an "industry showcase lounge" and a permanent exhibition space that never closes. Covering a total exhibition area of 282 square meters, the event will run until December this year. By empowering industries through contextual scenarios, passenger footfall, and brand building, it aims to continuously enhance the city's brand image of "Chengdu Smart Manufacturing" and inject new momentum into the high-quality development of the municipal industrial sector.

Unlike conventional short-term exhibitions, this joint exhibition is strategically located at Chengdu's three core transportation hubs, featuring four physical exhibition zones in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of Shuangliu Airport, Terminal 2 of Tianfu Airport, and the waiting hall of Chengdu East Railway Station. The exhibition is carefully curated around four major themes: intelligent manufacturing, agricultural products, cultural and creative products, and consumer goods. From August 17 to September 30, the focus will primarily be on showcasing the achievements of industrial SRDI enterprises. This innovative initiative fully capitalizes on the massive flows of people, goods, and information at aviation and railway hubs. A relevant official from the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology and the Municipal New Economy Commission stated that, leveraging the tens of thousands of business travelers and tourists passing through the hubs daily, the mobile industrial exhibition aims to directly convert passenger traffic into business growth, building a nationwide and globally connected platform for exhibition and matchmaking.

In the spacious and bright departure hall of Terminal 1 at Shuangliu Airport, cutting-edge technological products such as intelligent connected vehicles, AI service robots, and new energy power equipment are neatly displayed, attracting passing business travelers to stop and admire. The intelligent manufacturing theme is presented in two phases: the first phase, from August 17 to September 11, focuses on artificial intelligence and intelligent connected vehicles; the second phase, from September 12 to September 30, highlights aerospace and the low-altitude economy, biomedicine and medical devices, and the light industry. All exhibits are carefully selected from national-level SRDI "Little Giant" enterprises.

Meanwhile, Terminal 2 of Tianfu Airport and Chengdu East Railway Station are equally bustling. In the Tianfu Airport exhibition hall, products such as the Hongde Boyu ice cream robot and the Yuefan Innovation delivery robot attract a large number of passengers for interactive experiences. In the AI exhibition area at Chengdu East Railway Station, tech innovations like INMO smart glasses, Zhongke Yuyi intelligent inspection robots, and AI sugar painting machines have become the focal points. Reportedly, the first phase of the exhibition brings together 23 enterprises and 27 products, all of which have been showcased at the APEC Digital Week and major industry exhibitions, representing the leading level of Chengdu's intelligent manufacturing. Additionally, digital displays of 125 SRDI "Little Giant" enterprises are simultaneously launched at the airport jet bridges. Passengers can scan QR codes to access the "Chengdu Economy and Information Release" WeChat official account, obtaining detailed company profiles and contact channels with a single click, achieving full coverage of arriving and departing passenger flows.

Displaying complete vehicles and sci-tech equipment in the core departure halls of transportation hubs provides enterprises with an excellent window for brand promotion. At Terminal 2 of Shuangliu Airport, many business travelers are deeply experiencing the intelligent cockpit and new energy power systems at an automaker's booth. A site manager from the automaker remarked, "Entrepreneurs, investors, and purchasers traveling from all over the country can intuitively see our products right at the airport, greatly lowering the threshold for engagement. In the past, companies relied heavily on large-scale exhibitions, which had short durations and limited audiences, whereas airports serve as a natural channel for high-quality customer sources." According to on-site staff, on the first day of the exhibition, over a dozen out-of-town enterprises proactively inquired about product specifications and cooperation models. The company hopes to leverage this opportunity to tap into national channel resources and expand into broader markets. This display approach, which breaks the constraints of traditional physical spaces, not only brings technological achievements directly before high-net-worth business travelers but also provides enterprises with a low-cost, high-efficiency pathway for market expansion.

This joint exhibition is not merely a short-term showcase of achievements but also a crucial strategic initiative for Chengdu to cultivate and strengthen the ranks of SRDI enterprises. According to the plan, from October to December, the exhibition content at the three hubs will sequentially transition to showcase Chengdu enterprises and products in the categories of agricultural products, cultural and creative goods, and consumer products, achieving comprehensive coverage of industrial sectors.

A relevant official from the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology and the Municipal New Economy Commission stated that in the future, Chengdu will continue to utilize the spatial carriers of aviation and railway hubs to carry out regular promotion and display of Chengdu enterprises and products. Subsequent efforts will also focus on continuously improving the hub exhibition facilities, building an integrated service chain of display, exchange, matchmaking, and transformation, providing solid support for enterprises to expand markets and enhance brand awareness. By building a new ecosystem for industrial cultivation through scenario empowerment, passenger footfall empowerment, and brand empowerment, Chengdu is using sci-tech innovation and intelligent manufacturing as an engine to comprehensively propel the city's industrial economy toward a new stage of high-quality development.
