2026 International (Wuhan) Intelligent Construction Industry Expo Opens on the 27th

Artificial Intelligence

On October 16, it was announced at a press conference held by the Information Office of the Hubei Provincial Government that the 2026 International (Wuhan) Intelligent Construction Industry Expo, or the Intelligent Construction Expo for short, will take place at the Optics Valley Technology Convention Center in Wuhan from October 27 to 29.

As the construction industry's first specialized trade show focusing on the entire process, all elements, and the full lifecycle of intelligent construction, the Expo has been held successfully for two consecutive years. Themed "Leading with Smart Construction, Pooling Momentum to Strengthen the Industrial Chain," this year's edition will showcase cutting-edge achievements in intelligent construction and serve as a supply-demand matchmaking platform for industry stakeholders.

The event has attracted over 200 exhibitors across the entire industrial chain, featuring eight thematic zones spanning a total area of 20,000 square meters. The first floor focuses on "Quality Living," with three zones dedicated to the "City of Design," "Quality Homes," and urban renewal. The second floor centers on key topics such as the "Six Networks," new quality productive forces, and the Belt and Road Initiative, featuring five zones: Infrastructure and Intelligent Equipment, Green and Low-Carbon Engineering, New Energy Engineering, Digital and Intelligent Development, and Internationalization.

The Expo will welcome over 800 guests, including representatives from more than 10 countries, housing and urban-rural development departments from all 31 provincial-level regions across China, and various industry associations.

On the opening day, October 27, five academicians, experts, and leading entrepreneurs from renowned universities, top construction enterprises, major internet companies, and professional investment banks will deliver keynote speeches under the theme "Developing Intelligent Construction and Cultivating a Modern Construction Industry Chain," sharing their insights and practices in full-chain synergy and cross-sector innovation. On October 28, five parallel forums will be held, focusing on intelligent computing centers, digitalization of engineering design, urban renewal, integrated pipeline network construction, and the Belt and Road Initiative, to explore how intelligent construction empowers the future of the industry. The event will also see the release of Hubei Province's "Three-Year Action Plan for the Development of the Intelligent Construction Industry" and the industry-leading "Intelligent Construction 3.0" system solution by China Construction Third Engineering Bureau, offering valuable insights for pooling wisdom and driving innovation. Additionally, five B2B matchmaking events will be organized during the Expo.

According to the organizers, this year's Expo is packed with rich content and numerous highlights. Visitors will see the debut of major national engineering equipment, such as the "Airborne Mobile Factory" building-construction machine and the self-balancing cantilever bridge-construction machine. Other first-time showcases include movable "giant Lego blocks"—modular space capsules; an all-star robot team capable of both hospitality services and on-site construction tasks; and multi-task drone swarms. Furthermore, AI-integrated construction products, such as AI agents for project construction planning, full-stack building control systems, and the "Yipin Quality Home" residential AI agent, will give attendees a firsthand experience of the infinite possibilities technology brings to architecture.

Attendees can also step into the life-size model homes set up at the venue to experience residential AI agents that can self-diagnose, provide care, and grow alongside the family. They will get to experience the "Six-Constant" air system, which maintains constant temperature, humidity, oxygen levels, quietness, cleanliness, and airflow. Additionally, a range of "Quality Homes" products—including antibacterial and antiviral coatings, 5-in-1 whole-house water purification systems, flexible spaces, and aging-friendly renovations—will offer an intuitive look at the transformative impact of intelligent construction on residential quality.

The Intelligent Construction Expo is open to the public free of charge. Visitors can register online by following the official WeChat account "Intelligent Construction Expo" or by scanning the QR code on the official website. Alternatively, they can register on-site and collect their tickets by scanning the QR code at Exit A2 of Gaoxin Avenue at the Optics Valley Technology Convention Center during the event.
