On September 19, the 24th China International Motorcycle Trade Expo, or 2026 CIME for short, grandly opened at the Chongqing International Expo Center. As the only national-level professional motorcycle expo in China, this year's edition has set unprecedented records, with visitor attendance exceeding 50,000 on the opening day, fully demonstrating CIME's industry influence and strong drawing power. Themed "Leading Industry Development, Co-creating a Better Future," the expo focuses on the development directions of premiumization, electrification, and intelligentization, and will run until September 22.
The expo boasts a total exhibition area of 190,000 square meters, encompassing 8 indoor halls along with multiple B2B matchmaking, outdoor test ride, and interactive experience zones. The event features over 100 global motorcycle and electric vehicle brands, with more than 3,000 vehicles on dynamic and static display. It brought together representatives from government departments, industry associations, supply chain enterprises, and professional institutions for in-depth exchanges on globalization, market transformation, industrial upgrading, and technological innovation. Participants explored new cycles, trends, and opportunities in the motorcycle industry's development, charting the course for high-quality industry growth.
